Interview/Bio Assignment

Interview of a ClassmateIn order for all of us to get to know one another better, begin to feel more connected, and learn about the special talents and diverse backgrounds we come from, please complete the following steps.

1.Find your partner.

2. Ask at least ten questions based on the following topics.  You will be graded as the interviewer, so ask interesting questions that tell us something about your classmate and be sure to take substantial notes.

• ethnic, social and cultural background of the family (heritage, special traditions and national origin)
• family circle (number of siblings, what parents do for a living, pets…)
• languages spoken at home
• places you have lived in, places where you want to go and why
• interests and hobbies in and outside of school, jobs (how you spend your time)
• last book you have read, other books you’ve read (did you like them?)
• historical interests and event (s) that have had a major impact on you or your family, etc.

3.  Take detailed notes on the responses to your questions; tonight, star the three most interesting things you learned that you would like others to know.

4. ON YOUR BLOG, write your partner's bio, incorporating the most interesting aspects you uncovered.  Also include a photograph of them.  You can take a photograph using Photobooth (or possibly one of the Connect cameras).
How to upload a photo:
- Click on the "Insert Image" icon above, it's between the word "link" and the director's clipboard on your toolbar above.  Then click on Browse and find the photo taken and upload it.  Please don't take one of those totally distorted pics.  It will appear here, and look something like this:
